DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Local food pantries, churches, and organizations are working to make sure families within the Miami Valley can still put food on the table.
In Kettering, businesses like D20: A Bar with Characters are hosting drop-off locations for food drives in their community. The bar is working with Gem City Action and their partners to collect nonperishable foods.
“Times are tough right now, and some people are struggling,” said Sara Camarata, the cocktail manager at D20. “We here at D20 feel a very strong sense of community and want to help give back in any way we can.”
