School shooting threat on Snapchat in Ohio triggers FBI response, man arrested

Kettering, Ohio (WTRF)— A Dayton man was arrested after police responded to a report of a school shooting threat made on social media.

On November 6 around 11:30 p.m., the Ohio State Highway Patrol contacted Kettering Police with a tip from the FBI’s National Threat Operations Center. The tip involved a Snapchat post threatening to shoot up the school next to Skyline Chili on Wilmington Pike.
