Springfield Police and Students Engage in Community-Building Hide and Seek Game at Springfield High School

Last Thursday, the Springfield Township Police Department went beyond their call of duty and into a childhood pastime at Springfield High School. With more than 50 students bundling up against the cold, the police officers played an enthusiastic game of Hide and Seek across the school grounds.

The event, now in its stride as an established meetup, saw local businesses and community members band together to support the youthful spirit of the game. DeCheco’s Pizza on Canton Road donated all the pizza, ensuring participants were well-fueled for the hide-and-seek challenges, while Walmart #1911 on South Arlington Road contributed prizes for the stealthiest students.
