DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Across the Miami Valley, the northern lights could be spotted on the night of Tuesday, Nov. 11.
The northern lights, also known as aurora borealis, are caused by disturbances in the Earth’s magnetosphere caused by enhanced speeds of solar wind. They come in many different colors, with red and blue lights being much rarer.
