Grand jury decides not to indict officers investigated in Christian Black’s death

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF) — A Montgomery County Grand Jury has decided not to indict 10 officers who were being investigated in connection to Christian Black’s death, according to the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office. The Dayton Police Department was the investigating agency on the case, but special prosecutors from the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office presented the case to the grand jury.

Christian black was in custody at the Montgomery County Jail in March when he became unresponsive after being restrained.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, and his death was ruled a homicide by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office…
