DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Today marks the second day of trial for one of the alleged shooters in the death of Isabella Carlos, who was shot while asleep in her bed in August 2024.
On the early morning of Aug. 23, 2024, Dayton police were called to West Fairview Avenue after three homes were shot over a dozen times. 12-year-old Carlos was fatally struck when bullets breached her house.
One of the alleged shooters in Carlos’ murder, Antawan Benson, now faces his second day of trial. Benson was indicted in September 2024 along with his brother, Javen Conner.
