DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – With dangerously frigid temperatures approaching, Daybreak is offering multiple ways to escape the cold.
Daybreak is a non-profit that helps young people, and with winter weather in full swing, it has overnight housing spaces for youth ages ten to 17.
“This is a place of respite for youth in the community,” said Tina Rezash Rogal, the chief development officer for Daybreak. “When it gets cold like this, what we really want the youth in our community to know is they can come here during the day, starting at nine in the morning till four in the afternoon, get out of the cold, get two hot meals.”…
