Huber Heights opens new governance center

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – The city of Huber Heights held an official dedication and open house for the new Richard F. Shomper Governance Center on the night of Tuesday, Dec. 9.

From 5-7 p.m., residents had the opportunity to tour the new building, meet staff and officials, and enjoy light refreshments.

According to city officials, the event marks a milestone in the city’s continued investment in modern, efficient, and accessible government services. Additionally, the center is a tribute to the legacy of Richard F. Shomper, a former city leader whose leadership and dedication helped shape the Huber Heights community for future generations.
