Formal charges unveiled after man was allegedly murdered with garden snips: police

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — An indictment has been given after a 34-year-old man was allegedly murdered with a pair of garden snips, according to police.

On Friday, 47-year-old Jerome Walker, also known as Jada Walker, was formally charged with the following:

  • Two counts of Murder
  • One count of Felonious Assault causing Serious Physical Harm
  • One count of Felonious Assault with a Deadly Weapon
  • One count of Tampering with Evidence

Montgomery County Prosecutor Mat Heck said on the morning of Dec. 2, officers with the Dayton Police Department (DPD) were sent to an apartment in the 1900 block of Elsmere Avenue on reports of an injured person.
