KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) — Last week, a Daytonian reached a milestone that many dream of: reaching 100 years old.
On Dec. 17, Myrtle Champion officially reached her 100th birthday. To celebrate, Champion’s family and friends gathered at Presidential Banquet Center in Kettering for a convivial birthday party.
For the event, relatives from as far as Georgia, South Carolina and Texas traveled to the Buckeye State to celebrate the centenarian.
