The body of a Springfield Township doctor who went missing just before Thanksgiving was found Christmas Day in a lake near his home, the Lucas County Coroner’s Office said.
People taking a walk near Orchard Lake and Stone Oak Country Club found the remains of Dr. Cletus Iwuagwu, 71, and reported it to the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office, said Dr. Thomas Blomquist, county coroner. The body was positively identified after the Springfield Fire Department recovered it from the water, he said.
Dr. Iwuaqwu was reported missing Nov. 25 by his daughter, and multiple search parties were organized to look for him afterward. He was last seen on a surveillance camera at his home…
