DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A driver was hospitalized after crashing into an apartment unit at the Commons of Kettering on East David Road on Tuesday morning.
According to officials from the Kettering Police Deparment, the driver was pulling into a parking spot. They attempted to hit the brake to stop the vehicle, but instead stomped on the gas pedal, which made the vehicle crash into the north side of Apt. A.
This crash damaged the exterior of the building, but not the apartment unit.

Medics took the driver to Miami Valley South for their self-reported chest pain, caused by the crash.
