MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKEF)– It’ll be some time before all the snow goes away, but roads are slowly going back to normal right now. Cities across the Miami Valley have been working around the clock plowing. Dayton 24/7 Now’s, Kysha Hancock caught up with a few about the latest in the progress.
Since the heavy snowfall over the weekend, crews across the Miami Valley have been working to plow streets trying to get people back on the roads. Some areas like Miami Township told Hancock after all the hard work, they’re finally finished.
“We ran in two shifts, so we have nine dedicated routes and drivers so we would run them around 12 hours and we would give them a 6 hour break and then our second crew would come in and clean up and then at the end it was all hands on deck everybody worked together to get this completely cleaned up,” said John Schweickart, director of public works for Miami Township…
