Tri-State crash that killed 3 was result of road rage: police

BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) – A man charged in a crash that killed three people, including a 10-year-old boy, is now in custody, authorities said.

Brandon Begley, 41, faces three counts of aggravated vehicular homicide in connection with the Dec. 21 crash in Hamilton.

Investigators initially said Begley was driving about 75 mph on River Road near Hooven Avenue while attempting to pass three vehicles. He crossed a double yellow line into oncoming traffic, then struck a curb after returning to the southbound lane.
