COLUMBUS, Ohio — Light snow has returned to portions of western and Central Ohio. Areas near and west of U.S. Route 33 have the best chance for snow accumulation, with potential for accumulations of a dusting to 1 inch. Little to no accumulation is expected north and east of Columbus. However, a few spots could see 1-2 inches around Dayton.
A narrow band of light snow has fallen across central and western Ohio on Sunday morning. Even with this light amount of snow, some roads have become snow-covered and hazardous for a brief time. Sun will return Sunday afternoon, helping clear any snow that accumulates through midday.
We’ll see quieter conditions for Sunday afternoon as temperatures warm through the 20s. This may be our last bout of snow for a little while, as warmer temperatures are in the forecast for the next week. Expect highs to reach the 30s and 40s, and there may actually be a better chance for rain than snow by next weekend. Plenty of snowmelt expected over the next week!…
