DAYTON, Ohio — Nine people were arrested, three guns were seized, and a stolen vehicle was recovered as part of a violent crime reduction operation led by the Dayton Police Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol on Feb. 12.

According to a press release from Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine’s office, this was part of his administration’s Violent Crime Reduction Initiative.
“These statewide violent crime reduction operations have proven beneficial in getting drugs, illegally possessed guns, and violent offenders off the streets,” DeWine said in the release. “The State of Ohio remains fully committed to supporting local agencies as they work to hold repeat offenders accountable for their crimes.”…
