The Dayton City Commission has issued a statement following Montgomery County’s decision to open a new Job Center.
Montgomery County announces plans to build new job center
The city commission said that the county should consider residential access to the services that the Job Center provides. While not directly opposing the move, the commission is asking that the new site take resident’s needs into account.
“Maintaining continuity of services, accessibility, and support for those who rely on these resources is essential,” reads a part of the statement.
