Yesterday evening, Butler County’s usually serene atmosphere was met with a stir of police activity as the Sheriff’s Office Bomb Unit was summoned to a residential block in Hamilton. According to a Facebook post by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, their bomb squad was called into action after a homeowner on the 1700 block of Pleasant Avenue reported the potential presence of explosives left by a previous tenant.
