Lewisburg Woman Apprehended for Allegedly Filing False Police Reports

According to a criminal complaint, on February 7, an officer responded to the area surrounding Tudor’s Biscuit World in Lewisburg. The call was about a domestic violence protection order violation. Officers arrived at the location and spoke with the caller, later identified as Erin Bumgardner. The officer requested Bumgardner to point out the person she said was subjected to the DVP.

Bumgardner pointed to a male sitting at the opposite end of the dining area and identified him. An officer approached the guy Bumgardner named as the male responsible for violating the DVP. The officer identified the individual based on his Alabama driver’s license. The male was eating breakfast with his wife, and neither he nor she knew who Bumgardner was.

The officer then requested that Bumgardner show her the DVP she was carrying, as well as a photo of the individual mentioned on her phone. According to the criminal complaint, the person in the photo did not match the person sitting at the Tudors’ table…
