The Miami Conservancy District activated its flood protection system following a night of heavy rain and storms throughout the Miami Valley.
The agency said on Friday that the system was activated overnight and will be in effect until river levels concede.
Until then, Germantown has gone into storage, floodgates are closed in Hamilton and Middletown, as well as entrance gates at East River Landing Park and Miami Bend Park…
