Springfield march to support family whose father was taken by ICE

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Springfield residents came together for a peace walk Saturday to help support a family whose father was detained by ICE.

Juan Arriaga Reyes went to a yearly check-in with immigration authorities on Friday. His family said he never came back.

Lacy Arriga, Reyes’s wife, said her husband knew there was a chance that his voluntary check-in with ICE could result in his detention, but he wanted to remain visible.
