17 bowling balls, weighing 255 pounds, stolen from Denver pro’s porch

DENVER (KDVR) — An alleged thief walked away with 17 bowling balls from a Denver professional’s front porch last week, hauling away about 255 pounds of equipment worth about $4,500.

The balls belonged to Steven Gallegos, a professional bowler who has spent 42 years in the sport. He told Nexstar’s KDVR that he left the equipment on his porch because he needed to move it to another vehicle the next day.

They’re a heavy lift, Gallegos explained, and leaving them on his porch was more convenient than hauling them inside…
