NWS reports winds up to 77mph in Miami Valley

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Miami Valley was blasted by strong winds today, as an area of low pressure moved through the Great Lakes.

According to the National Weather Service, the strongest winds occurred in parts of west-central and central Ohio between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Some of the top wind speeds across the Miami Valley include Richmond Municipal Airport with 59 miles per hour, Auglaize County Airport with 67 miles per hour, and Dayton International Airport with an outstanding 77 miles per hour…
