1 week later: Fuyao Glass America fire leaves community with questions and concerns

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — It’s been a week since a fire erupted on top of the roof at the Fuyao Glass America Plant in Moraine for more than 48 hours. Although the flames have been extinguished and the area is quieter, community members shared their concerns about what comes next and potential safety risks that could arise.

As previously covered, the roof of the glass plant caught fire on Sunday, March 22, around 8:30 p.m. It reportedly took 20 million gallons of water to extinguish it over the next two days.
