DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A man was arraigned in court on Tuesday, March 31, after allegedly making terroristic threats to local hospitals.
According to court documents, 23-year-old Marcellus Smith posted a video to social media earlier this month, threatening nurses at the Miami Valley Hospital and Dayton Children’s Hospital if he was not granted a lawsuit or his children did not receive the care he wanted.
Smith was arrested at his Dayton home and confessed to making the threats. He did not have any firearms on his person, but Dayton Police later posted a photo of multiple replica firearms he had in his possession.
