CEDARVILLE, Ohio (WKEF) — A Grand Jury indicted a former Cedarville University professor on charges of rape, sexual battery, and gross sexual imposition.
According to Montgomery County Jail records, John Tarwater, 55, was indicted on the following charges:
- One count of Rape
- Two counts of Sexual Battery (Forcible Rape)
- One count of Sexual Battery (Simple Assault)
- Two counts of Gross Sexual Imposition
According to the Greene County Common Pleas Court, the incidents occurred between August 5, 2019 and July 28, 2025.
