New Tech Plastics Expands Ohio Operations

New Tech Plastics, a manufacturer specializing in thin-gauge industrial packaging film, has announced plans to expand its operations into Piqua, OH. The expansion includes renovating an underutilized industrial facility, creating 30 new jobs, and increasing production capacity to support new product lines.

“With the support from JobsOhio, we look forward to expanding our long-standing business to increase production capacity and enter new product lines,” said New Tech Plastics CEO Shawn Turner. “Each of these objectives will yield new jobs north of Dayton.”

The Covington, OH-based company has made investments in upgrades to accommodate additional production lines and future growth.

JobsOhio grant fuels redevelopment and job creation in Piqua

The expansion project is supported by a $250,000 JobsOhio Revitalization Grant. This program is designed to fund projects that retain and create jobs, address environmental risks, and close funding gaps for redevelopment.
