Butler County museum restored after flood damage

OKEANA, Ohio (WKRC) — Major flooding caused damage to a historic building in Butler County back in March, but after saving the museum inside and a couple of months of hard work, the old Morgan Township Hall is ready for an open house next week.

Standing in the old Morgan Township Hall, you are surrounded by history: photos, engravings and knick-knacks in every corner. But when devastating floods came through Okeana in March, it was almost lost.
