DECATUR, Ga. — A DeKalb County homeowner says she’s frustrated and scared after surveillance cameras captured a man stealing her HVAC unit for the second time in about a month.
Home security video from Saturday shows a man cutting the pump from an HVAC unit at a Decatur home in broad daylight. The footage then shows him using a car jack to loosen and lift the protective cage surrounding the unit before removing it. A short time later, the man is seen loading the HVAC unit into the back of an SUV and driving away.
