When the 2026-2027 school year begins on Wednesday, some Gwinnett County Public Schools students will begin their educations in fields such ranging from cyber security, pharmacy operations and patient care to marketing, business and film.
That’s because GCPS is preparing to roll out some new academic programs this fall at the middle and high school levels. The new programs will be spread out amongst select schools so not every school is about to start offering classes in, say, cybersecurity.
