East Point police say three family members stole thousands of dollars in rent payments from tenants at an apartment complex, leaving some residents facing eviction despite believing their rent had been paid.
According to arrest warrants, police say the trio took more than $65,000 from at least 60 victims through an alleged scheme involving rent checks and money orders intended for the Fulton Pointe Apartments.
