ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A statue of Georgia civil rights leader John Lewis is replacing a Confederate monument which once stood for over a century in Decatur. The large bronze statue of Lewis was put in place last week. It will be unveiled on Saturday during a special ceremony.
