Lacing up for a cause, Make-A-Wish Georgia, in concert with Cobb County, is relaunching its 5K charity event after a lengthy pause. Scheduled for the brisk morning of October 5, 2024, at 8 a.m., the starting line will be bustling with participants right at Marietta Square. This year’s event plays a dual role as both a community uniter and a hope generator for the county’s critically ill youngsters.
