It’s traffic Sarah Leonard says has been put on pause because of the holiday. But once Christmas is over and construction equipment is moved back onto North Druid Hills Road, homeowners living in an adjacent neighborhood say it’ll be nearly impossible to enter and exit their neighborhood.
“It took me a little over an hour to get from the Greek Orthodox Church on Clairmont Road, to get to my house which is two miles,” Leonard said.
The construction is a part of the county’s watershed project to repair a leaking water main. Construction on the leak started in October. Drivers say this project has reduced North Druid Hills Road from four lanes to two.
