On September 5th, the institution turns 70, but fear not, it’s nowhere near retiring. Instead, WaHo has many fun and flavorful plans for celebrating the big birthday, both at the location of the original restaurant in Avondale Estates just outside of Atlanta, and throughout the South.

Although their official birthday isn’t until September, celebrations will begin early on August 24th. That’s the day a limited-edition birthday waffle will debut at participating locations.
