ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – An Atlanta police officer was taken to the hospital on Saturday after being involved in a car accident.
Officers were called to the incident in the 500 block of Hank Aaron Drive SE, which is right by the Center Parc Stadium in the Summerhill neighborhood. The crash involved an APD vehicle, and the officer was loaded into an ambulance.
The officer is expected to recover. The circumstances behind the crash are currently unknown…
