ATLANTA — Firefighters were called to a fire on Friday morning at the old Morris Brown College gymnasium.
Several crews responded, and firefighters could be seen on the roof of the building working to ventilate the structure and extinguish the blaze.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known. The gym, located at 570 Martin Luther King Dr., had a capacity of 7,000, but has not been used for some time and is no longer owned by the college. The extent of the damage was still being assessed…
