NAACP expresses concerns about potential data centers in DeKalb County

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The DeKalb County NAACP is urging caution ahead of a meeting where the county’s zoning committee will take a look at how they will regulate data centers.

Regulations would covers thing like where they can be built, how they are categorized, and how much noise they can make.

“I do support regulations on data centers,” said Ted Terry, District Six Commissioner. “We had no code section in our ordinances that defined what a data center was.”…
