Police arrest man for allegedly extorting DeKalb County cadet over stray bullet

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — A man in Stone Mountain was arrested after trying to extort a cadet from the DeKalb County Police, according to a police report.

Officers with the Stone Mountain Police Department were called to townhomes located in the 1100 block of Rankin Street on Nov. 9, around 5:54 p.m., after receiving a property damage call.
