Conyers, GA – On Sunday, December 28, 2025, Conyers Police responded to a shooting at 259 Odyssey Turn in the Callaway Crossing neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers found 34-year-old Kadarin Ridley of Monticello lying on the sidewalk two houses away with gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts at the scene, Ridley was pronounced dead.
During the investigation, officers identified 39-year-old Antwan Smith of Covington as the suspect. A handgun was recovered at the scene, and witnesses confirmed Smith’s involvement. The relationship between Smith and Ridley remains under investigation…
