Flu emergencies on the rise in DeKalb

DeKalb County residents are saying “hello” to a new year – and a new strain of the influenza virus that is rapidly spreading throughout the area.

DeKalb County officials and emergency medical personnel are alerting residents to a significant increase in flu-related emergency calls, based on data and observations from American Medical Response (AMR).
