A man was struck and killed along a busy stretch of Campbellton Road after repeatedly running into traffic, according to Atlanta police. Officers arrived in the 3100 block of Campbellton Road around 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 12 and found the man unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.

According to WSB-TV, police reports state the man, dressed in all-dark clothing, repeatedly moved from the curb into active lanes of traffic. Investigators say he ran back and forth from the curb, at one point sitting in lanes where vehicles were moving, before standing up and running into traffic again.
