DEKALB COUNTY, GEORGIA — A 38-year-old man was struck and killed by an oncoming train after reportedly calling his father one final time to say his car was stuck on railroad tracks and attempting to rescue a woman inside the vehicle.
Authorities identified the man as Brent Davis. He was pronounced dead at the scene following the early morning collision involving a car and a train.
Car Stalled on Railroad Tracks
According to the DeKalb County Police Department, officers responded to reports of a collision between a vehicle and a train near East Ponce De Leon Avenue and North Clarendon Avenue during the early morning hours of February 10.
