Ride share passenger killed in Aurora crash

AURORA, Colo. — A ride share passenger was killed Monday night after another driver ran a red light and collided with their vehicle, according to Aurora Police.

The crash happened at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Laredo Street around 8 p.m. According to police, the driver of a Toyota Rav4 was headed westbound on 6th Avenue when they ran a red light and collided with a sedan which was operating as a ride share.

As a result of the collision, the sedan’s driver’s side rear door was ripped off and the backseat passenger was ejected. The sedan driver and their passenger were both taken to the hospital, where the passenger died…
