DENVER (KDVR) — Dozens of residents of an Aurora apartment building were displaced after a three-alarm fire overnight, according to Aurora Fire Rescue.
Just before 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, fire crews responded to an apartment fire in the 700 block of North Dillon Way. Firefighters saw flames on the second and third floors of the building.
The first crew at the scene got a hose line on the outside of the building to darken down the flames from the outside, then they made entry into the building, where they were met with heavy smoke, high heat and fire conditions.
Firefighters rescued several residents inside, and more searched the building for any more occupants…
