ESTES PARK, Colo. (KDVR) – Two recent elk encounters in Colorado left the women involved terrified.
The first was recorded by Nexstar’s KDVR when a woman was charged by two elk as she was walking her dog near a lake in Evergreen. The elk tried to stomp the woman’s dog, but she and the dog were able to slip away down the bank of the lake.
“This time of year, you know lots of babies are being born; the elk are very, very territorial,” one park visitor who viewed the video said…
