A Colorado mom was slapped with a murder charge after prosecutors alleged she gave her teenage daughter alcohol for months before the 16-year-old ultimately died from complications related to chronic alcohol consumption.
Gretchen Leanne Ryan was charged with second-degree murder in connection with the March 2026 death of her daughter, according to the First Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
