A grass fire near Denver International Airport grew to more than 200 acres Saturday, putting off smoke that was visible across the metro area.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office said at around 3 p.m. Saturday that the fire started near East 120th Avenue and Watkins Road, just northeast of the airport.
