A swimmer was rescued at Eaglewatch Lake, in Littleton, on Tuesday after he became fatigued while trying to swim across the lake.
According to South Metro Fire Rescue, paramedics arrived at the lake and found the swimmer about 150 to 200 yards from shore, struggling to stay afloat and beginning to slip beneath the water.
A paramedic entered the water wearing a personal flotation device and secured to a rescue rope, with another paramedic remaining on shore.
