Authorities in Aurora have recovered the body of a person who went missing in the water at Cherry Creek State Park on Tuesday.
Multiple sheriff’s deputies, Cherry Creek State Park Rangers, South Metro Fire Rescue firefighters and Colorado Parks and Wildlife personnel searched the area around the swim beach for more than two hours after the person was reported missing around 5 p.m.
